GE Arctica side by side
Our fridge seems to be on the fritz-first the ice/water dispenser stopped working, then it wasn't cooling properly(temps kept creeping up), then it seemed to be running OK last night, and now it seems to not be cooling at all and the temp. display aren't even on. This all began 24 hours ago. It is about 6 years old and we are debating whether it is worth having somebody come out and look at it. IS there any conventional wisdom with regard to repair vs. replace. I imagine a repair is pretty costy. But so is a new fridge! (the plus side would be getting rid of the side by side which we hate)
