Melody Thornton, a singer, has issued an apology following a performance of the musical The Bodyguard being interrupted by boisterous spectators.
The interruption at Manchester's Palace Theatre on Friday prevented the former Pussycat Dolls singer from finishing the performance's last song.
Thornton said she "fought really hard" to continue the act but it was not possible in a statement posted to Instagram.
According to the theater, security personnel had to eject two audience members who wouldn't stop singing and refusing to sit down.
The 1992 movie's stage adaption, which stars Thornton and former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks actor Ayden Callaghan in the roles made famous by Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, had previously begged audiences not to sing along.

An employee was "disappointed that the last 10 minutes of the show needed to be cancelled due to disruptive customers refusing to stay seated and ruining the performance for others," the spokesperson stated.
They thanked Greater Manchester Police (GMP) for "their assistance" and applauded the security personnel at the venue for "handling these difficult circumstances in a professional and calm manner."
Two people were evacuated by security personnel, and the force confirmed that cops had arrived.
